I honestly loved this book. I was amazed how well Jay Asher made his book feel real. Like from the beginning you feel like you are there. It was hard in some parts because I lost somebody really close to me due to suicide, so I know how it feels. I for awhile blamed myself for his death but Thirteen Reasons Why showed me that it is normal to feel that way and to reach out for help. One lesson I feel this book teaches is that you do need to watch how you treat people and that if you see any type of sign please do whatever you can to help them but also report it.
